=5 poems=

1.
When I no more what book it dust that spread that plague each cell a grave a yard of graves and all those acts just pointless dumbshow its shades it stomping
on walls no more a vintage of quaffed bottles
and—poof—it’s gone ask not the question
the head of wheat so blonde that bends that dead that makes this bread what eats what speaks itself

2.
Brutal those days before yesterday better than now the detonating snapshot the eternal red-eye the burn album it humped it over a tour guide it crater running with narrow dogs no shade no relief from the zero
it deafened it muted a limp rain to what end the lunar dust the crepuscular face those horses what don’t exist flee, white-eyed,
a fire what robed us it Aztec it fist in the hole it cured us what ail it a miracle

3.
Chewing all the dirt of the world the chopsticks of an old man without hair without teeth without legs
& a flag that is all traffic
consider them: the tooth, the egg, the capital atrocity, Mr. Hoover.

4.
--black fingernail a spider climbing silence no making it visible one by one by dust in little balls of forgotteness

5.
In faultlines in fragments in leftover pieces
this half-face, this thumb-joint this mysterious organ
who lap its secretions who howl over bones
thy blueprint thy long fang thy gut-clenching claw who Nazi who searchlight its handcuff its law what didn’t love us what hollow us all
its pitiless eye it's x-ray forever it toothpick

it morsel it cruel diagnosis it over it over it footprint it hair-hank it dropping  it gone
