Who knows what they wanted? Money, no doubt. What do any of these people want? Money—for a subscription or financial support, as if I were a freaking "Patron of the Arts"! Whatever they were expecting, it sure isn't this. But this is what they're getting. And on their dime. This is what I have to offer to the world and I give it freely. Tough luck for Poetry Magazine and the world. Tough luck for me, too, I guess. No one wants what I have to offer. Boo-hoo-hoo.
