My general feeling about people nowadays is that I'm as happy to be ignored as I am to play the audience for whoever might feel the need of someone to talk to and find me a convenient ear at hand. I may even say a few things  in return to contribute to the conversation—I'm not totally obtuse to the demands of sociability (alas)—but I don't have any driving inner need of my own to communicate with anyone and would, if unprovoked, remain silent which is my natural state...except for what pictures or texts I may produce and make public—if you could properly call such products "communication" and how I choose to share them "public," as opposed, say, to what it more often than not appears to be to me: the socially awkward equivalent of someone talking to herself in the presence of others.
