=spellbook=

A bad marriage like a bad job like being carried away crumb by crumb by thousands of black ants is like a lot of things. Between the time you put the teapot on and the time the water comes to a boil you may have lost your thirst for tea. A sentence, like a pocket, may be empty, but that doesn't mean it's useless. I am the sum total of a lot of things I don't remember adding and wish I could have subtracted but an equation has no choice. Silence, like someone you've forgotten, is something you can't point out. If you know what time it is, what do you really know? You can get a pen to write but you can't shake its head underwater. No flag flies without a breeze.
