"Don't you realize that making the world your friend is making God your enemy? Anyone who chooses the world for his friend turns himself into God's enemy. The spirit which he sent to live in us wants us for himself alone."
(Some of us are alien presences inhabiting a "human" spacesuit. We are in this world only temporarily, destined to blast off (die) & thereby return to our point of origin. We never become attached to this planet & this verse reminds us of this fact & of our mission, inasmuch as you can call what we are doing here a "mission.")
…and to the 1%ers we oppose, also alien, who've come to colonize this planet for the purpose of sucking the life-energy from the lower forms of sentient creatures (so-called Homo Sapiens) native to this backward planet:
"Now an answer for the rich. Start crying, weep for the miseries that are coming to you. Your wealth is all rotting, your clothes are all eaten up by moths. All your gold and silver are corroding away, and the same corrosion will be your own sentence, and eat into your body…Laborers mowed your fields, and you cheated them—listen to the wages that you kept back, calling out; realize that the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts. In the time of slaughter, you went on eating to your hearts content. It was you who condemned the innocent and killed them; they offered you no resistance."
